Well we got word from K.Y. that The Rev. was playing a Springfest & Car Rally in Fort Worth ..so I loaded up the Mustang and headed for The seedy underbelly of the Northside .. got there just in time to see Junior Browns last song ( sob sob ) .. then the last act of the night was Jim Heath AKA The Reverend Horton Heat .. this was my 10 year olds first show ..and he loved it ..got mad at me when I scooped him up and whisked him to stage right .. to get out and away from the mosh pittees ... and BTW when did moshin mix with Rockabilly ( Puzzeled Expression on Erin's face ) ..a 4 year old little girl got hit in the head by some drunk ..WTF@! anyway Jim is still rockin after 25 years ..and I hope he will be burning up stages for 25 more .. the stand up bass player Jimbo was outstanding ... out front standin on his bass ....slapping that bass like a good time you never seen ! LOL hehe ..anyway it was hard to get good shots with the crappy camara I have ..so time to invest in a new one .. all these photos were taken by David & Erin Arthur ! Oh Yea and Jim ..I got some snakeskin shoes just fer you ! I was hopin to get a quick how-do in with Jim after 20 years .. but it was just not in the cards .. maybe next time Jim !
